Our Goals
The Youth Assembly Project is built on the following pillars:
Empowerment:
Providing young people with leadership, governance, and tech skills to help them engage effectively in civic and political processes.
Inclusivity:
Ensuring that all young people, regardless of gender, background, or location, have the opportunity to participate.
Transparency:
Promoting openness and accountability in governance processes through innovative solutions.
Collaboration:
Building a network of like-minded individuals and organisations to drive collective action and sustainable impact.

Want a better Nigeria?
Join the youth assembly
This initiative is inspired by the legacy of our late founder, Simi Olusola, whose tireless advocacy for good governance remains a guiding light for our mission.
The Youth Assembly stands as a testament to Simi’s passion and commitment to bridging the gap between citizens and the democratic systems that serve them.
Project Phases
The Youth Assembly Project is structured into
Capacity Building
Equipping young Nigerians with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to actively participate in governance.
Lawmakers Engagement
During this phase, participants will connect with lawmakers to foster constructive dialogue on governance challenges and potential solutions.
Tech driven reporting
A dedicated reporting tool, the YA Web App, will be provided to facilitate efficient and accessible reporting, ensuring sustained impact and community involvement.
“This project will redefine citizens engagement in governance, taking decision from the very few to a wider range of people, as it should be in a democracy”
